General Information: Strepsils Plus Anaesthetic Throat Spray has been formulated to give effective and rapid relief from the symptoms of painful and inflamed sore throats, mouth and dental ulcers and the discomfort associated with tonsillitis and pharyngitis. Its dual action formula contains a local anaesthetic to numb the throat while the two antibacterial agents help kill the bacteria which can cause sore throats and mouth infections. The special spray action and directional nozzle target the medicine to the sore and inflamed area.
Warnings:
- Use with care if you are asthmatic.
- This product contains alcohol and saccharin
- Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Do not use if bottle seal is broken. If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
- Do not take hot food or drink soon after using this product as it may burn your mouth.

Ingredients:
- Amylmetacresol 290 g/spray
- Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 580 g/spray
- Lignocaine 780 g/spray
Dosage:
- Adult and children over 12 years: Spray twice directly onto the sore/inflamed area and swallow gently. Repeat every 3 hours as necessary, up to a maximum of 6 times in 24 hours.
- Children 6 to 12 years: Spray once only every 3 hours as necessary up to a maximum of 6 times in 24 hours.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
