Did you know that we do Medicine Compounding?
At Michael’s Health Care Chemist our priority is to provide the best possible treatment for our patients. We know each customer is unique and a “one-size-fits-all” approach is impractical. That is why we offer compounding services at all of our pharmacies. So, what is Medicine Compounding?
What is Medicine Compounding?
Put simply, Medication Compounding is when highly trained pharmacists make medicines from scratch. This means that with your Doctor’s consent, we can tailor your medications to meet your specific needs.
Special flavourings, unique dosage forms and innovative delivery methods – compounding pharmacies can help solve some of health care’s toughest challenges.
How may Medicine Compounding help me?
Mass production of medications has resulted in a “one-size-fits-all” treatment approach. This means that some patient’s specific needs may not be met, potentially resulting in sub-optimal therapies.
This is where we can come in to help.
At Michael’s Health Care Chemist, we recognise that each patient is unique and has their own specific needs. Our Pharmacists have completed nationally accredited courses in Medicine Compounding which provide tailored treatments and a range of options, giving you a variety of choice in how you take your medicines and supplements.
