Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is an essential, water-soluble vitamin that your body must obtain from outside sources with an array of health benefits including healthy growth and repair of tissues. We've buffered the ascorbic acid with calcium phosphate, allowing the formula to be gentle on the stomach. It also includes hesperidin, a natural bioflavonoid that is found in citrus fruit and potentiates the action of Vitamin C within the body.
