If Actilax is given to babies or children for more than one month, this should be done under the supervision of a doctor. Laxatives shouldn't be used for a long time.
Keep away from children.
Adults: The first dose is usually 15–30 ml per day. After 2 days, the dose can be cut down to 10–25 ml per day.
Children:
7-14 years 15ml 10ml
1-6 years 10ml 5-10ml
Infants under 1 year 5ml 3-5ml
Actilax shouldn't be given to babies younger than 6 months old unless your doctor tells you to. Can be taken with water, milk, or fruit juice. In general, people who take Actilax for constipation should drink a lot of water and make sure they eat enough fibre.
