Mometasone furoate 50 micrograms/spray
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Talk to your doctor or nurse if your symptoms don't go away. Keep away from children. Only for use in the nose. Do not give to kids under 12 years old. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant or breastfeed, if you have a nasal or sinus infection, if you recently had surgery or an injury to your nose, if you have an ulcer in your nose, or if you are planning to become pregnant or breastfeed. See your doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms don't get better in 7 days, if your nose starts bleeding, or if you start to have signs of a sinus infection, like pain, fever, swelling, or mucus that isn't clear. Do not take more than the maximum dose given. Do not use for more than 6 months unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you to. As a preservative, each spray has 0.02 mg of benzalkonium chloride.
Before each use, give the bottle a good shake. Before the first use, prime. If it hasn't been used for 14 days or more, pump it twice or until a fine spray comes out.
People of all ages If you are 12 or older, you should use two sprays in each nostril once a day. Once the symptoms are under control, a lower dose should be used as a maintenance dose: Spray once a day in each nostril.
