The Medi-Pak is widely used for minor sports injuries, bruising, period pain and arthritis discomfort. It is excellent for headaches and migraines, the reduction of swelling and muscle fatigue. Medi-Pak works by contracting blood vessels reducing internal bleeding. This reduces swelling, while numbing pain and easing discomfort.
Discard if punctured. Persons with circulatory problems should not use cold compression except as directed by a doctor. Do not heat in the microwave for more than 3 minutes at one time. Excessive heating may cause it to rupture or leak. Prior to use read complete instructions appearing on pack.
Cold Therapy: Store Medi-Pak in the freezer. Insert into cover. Place on the affected area.
Heat Therapy: Place Medi-Pak flat on the turntable only in the microwave, set power on the lowest setting. Heat for 2 minutes or place Medi-Pak in a suitable vessel and pour boiling hot water on the pak and rest in hot water for 3 – 5 minutes to reach the required temperature.
