Thuja (arborvitae) - Latin for "Tree of Life" - is an evergreen pine native to the mountainous slopes of eastern Canada. The Ojibwe Indians used the essential oil for the treatment of warts and fungal skin conditions, and also as a cleanser, disinfectant and insecticide.
