A good brand but it doesn't make my ferritin rise dramatically

I have been taking Orthoplex Green Iron for 2-3 years already. I was initially introduced to it by a naturopath. I'd definitely say that the side effects from Orthoplex Green Iron are milder than from other iron supplements. However, I still have some side effects from it in terns of GI tract - it can make me constipated. Even if I am not constipated, the stools can get very hard to pass as they can be very thick and sticky. Also, it doesn't make my ferritin rise as much as needed - it is still low, not even borderline.
