To use the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum effectively, begin with a hydrating facial cleanser, such as the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser. Next, apply an eye cream before using 1-2 pumps of the resurfacing retinol serum, gently spreading it over your face and neck. 

Follow up with a hydrating serum like the CeraVe Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and then apply a moisturizer, such as the CeraVe Ceramides Moisturizing Cream, to lock in hydration. 

For those with oily, combination, or mild acne-prone skin types, this retinol serum is ideal for addressing dark spots, post-blemish marks, and controlling excess oil. It can be used 1-2 times daily, in the morning and/or evening. For individuals with normal, sensitive, or dry skin, it's best to use it once daily at night or every other night. 

If you're new to retinol or other chemical exfoliants, start by applying the serum a few times a week at night and gradually increase to daily use as your skin builds tolerance. 

Always remember to apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day while using this product. Avoid contact with the eyes and lips; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
