If you smoke 10 cigarettes or more per day, start with Step 1 and progress gradually to Step 2 and Step 3 over a 10-week period as instructed on the packaging. If you smoke less than 10 cigarettes a day, begin with Step 2 and follow the 8-week program specified on the packaging.
