Maltofer is an oral iron for the treatment/prevention of iron deficiency in adults and adolescents where the use of ferrous iron is not tolerated, or otherwise inappropriate. Maltofer is less likely to cause constipation compared to ferrous sulfate.

• Free from: gluten, lactose, dairy, soy, yeast.

Contains: 100mg/10ml iron as iron polymaltose

Not for use in children under the age of 12 years. Child resistant cap. Contains sucrose and hydroxybenzoates, sorbitol. Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. If symptoms persist, see your medical practitioner.

Take 10-20ml daily preferably with food, or higher doses as directed by your medical practitioner. Not for use in children under the age of 12 years.
