General Information: Movicol is a laxative which can be used in children over 2 with either chronic or occasional constipation, providing comfortable and effective relief.

Features:

• Works with the body to soften and bulk the stool and encourage natural bowel movement.
• Less likely to dehydrate the body unlike stimulant laxatives.
• Lactose, gluten and sucrose free formulation.

Warnings:

• Not to be used in Children under the age of 2.
• Not to be used for more than 12 weeks unless under medical supervision.
• Not to be used in faecal impaction for more than 7 days.
• Should not be used in patients with inflammatory bowel disorders or intestinal perforations.
• Not to be used in patients with an allergy to Macrogol.

• Sodium Bicarbonate 89.3mg
• Potassium Chloride 25.1mg

Directions:

• For constipation:
• For children 2-5 years: 1 sachet daily.
• For children 6-11 years: 2 sachets daily.
• For faecal impaction (7 Day treatment.)
• For children 2-5 years: 2 sachets daily, increasing up to 8 by Day 7.
• For children 6-11 years: 4 sachets daily, increasing up to 12 by Day 7.
• Dissolve each sachet in 62.5mL (1/4 cup) of water and drink.
• Store below 25C.
