1. General Promotional Terms

1.1 These Promotion Terms and Conditions apply to promotional offers, discount codes, vouchers, rewards, loyalty points, free products, free services and other promotional incentives offered by Michael’s Health Care Chemist.

1.2 Unless otherwise expressly stated, promotions, discounts, vouchers and rewards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount.

1.3 This includes, but is not limited to, order discounts, product discounts, promotional codes, free products, free gifts, free services and offers such as free or discounted shipping.

1.4 Promotional offers may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, minimum spend requirements, redemption periods, product exclusions or other conditions. Where additional conditions apply, these will be displayed with the applicable promotion or at checkout.

1.5 Promotions have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Excluded and Restricted Products

2.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotions, discounts, promotional codes, vouchers, loyalty rewards and similar offers are not valid on scheduled medicines, prescription medicines, compounded medicines or compounded products, or other products that are restricted from promotional discounting.

2.2 Certain products may also be excluded from earning loyalty points or redeeming rewards where promotional incentives are restricted or otherwise not permitted.

2.3 Exceptions may apply to particular promotions or eligible products. Where an exception applies, the applicable discount, reward or benefit will be made apparent at the time of checkout.

2.4 If a product is not eligible for a promotion, discount, reward or points offer, the applicable benefit may be automatically excluded from that product during checkout.

3. Birthday Vouchers

3.1 Eligible registered members may receive a birthday voucher or promotional code by email.

3.2 Birthday vouchers are valid for one (1) month from the date the email containing the applicable voucher or promotional code is received, unless a different expiry date is expressly stated in the promotional communication.

3.3 Birthday vouchers are subject to the product exclusions and promotional restrictions contained in these Terms and Conditions.

3.4 Birthday vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, voucher or discount unless expressly stated otherwise.

3.5 Birthday vouchers are not transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and may only be redeemed in accordance with the conditions accompanying the voucher.

4. Membership and Earning Points

4.1 Only registered members are eligible to earn loyalty or rewards points.

4.2 When you register for a customer account on our website and agree to the applicable Terms of Service, you will automatically be enrolled in our loyalty and rewards program unless otherwise stated.

4.3 You must be logged into your registered customer account at the time of purchase to earn points on eligible online purchases.

4.4 Points will only be earned on eligible products and purchases. Scheduled medicines, prescription medicines, compounded medicines or compounded products, and other restricted or excluded products do not earn points unless expressly stated otherwise.

4.5 Points are calculated on the eligible portion of a purchase after applicable discounts, promotions or rewards have been applied, unless otherwise stated as part of a specific promotion.

4.6 Points cannot be transferred between customer accounts and have no cash value.

5. Points Expiry

5.1 Loyalty and rewards points are valid for twelve (12) months from the date they are accumulated or issued to your account.

5.2 Any points that have not been redeemed within twelve (12) months of their accumulation or issue date may automatically expire and be removed from your account.

5.3 Expired points cannot be reinstated, transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash except where we determine otherwise at our discretion.

6. Rewards and Redemption

6.1 Eligible accumulated points may allow members to access or redeem rewards, promotional benefits, discounts, free products, free services or other incentives made available through the rewards program.

6.2 Individual rewards may have their own redemption or expiry period. Where a reward has an expiry period, the applicable expiry date or redemption period will be displayed when the reward is issued or made available.

6.3 Unless otherwise expressly stated, a reward made available for redemption will have a redemption period of no less than twenty-four (24) hours.

6.4 Once a reward expires, it may no longer be available for redemption and may be automatically removed from the member’s account.

6.5 Rewards are subject to applicable product exclusions and may not be redeemed against scheduled medicines, prescription medicines, compounded medicines or compounded products, or other restricted products unless expressly stated otherwise.

6.6 Unless expressly stated otherwise, rewards cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, voucher, code or discount.

6.7 This restriction includes combinations involving order discounts, product discounts, promotional pricing, free products, free gifts, free services and free or discounted shipping.

6.8 Where more than one promotion or reward may be available for an order, the website or checkout may determine which offers are eligible to be applied together.

7. Promotional Availability and Errors

7.1 Promotions and rewards may be available for a limited period, while stocks last, or subject to specific eligibility requirements.

7.2 We reserve the right to correct promotional, pricing, technical or system errors, including where a discount, voucher, reward or points benefit has been applied incorrectly.

7.3 Where a promotion or reward cannot validly be applied to an item or order, it may be removed or adjusted at checkout.

8. Changes to Promotions and Rewards

8.1 To the extent permitted by law, Michael’s Health Care Chemist reserves the right to introduce, modify, suspend, withdraw or discontinue any promotion, discount, voucher, points program, reward or promotional incentive at its discretion.

8.2 These Promotion Terms and Conditions may also be amended from time to time without prior notice.

8.3 Any changes will apply from the date the updated terms are published or otherwise communicated, subject to any rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or modified.

8.4 We reserve the right to determine eligibility for promotions and rewards and to refuse, cancel or reverse a promotional benefit where there has been misuse, fraud, a technical error, a breach of these terms or where the benefit has otherwise been incorrectly issued or applied.
