APOHealth Pantoprazole Heartburn Relief is used to treat frequent (at least twice a week) heartburn and stomach pain caused by acid reflux in the oesophagus. Not meant to help right away; it may take a few days to feel the full effects.
Pantoprazole (as sodium sesquihydrate) 20 mg
Not recommended for use in children or adolescents under 18 years of age.
Do not take if you have severe liver disease or cirrhosis, or you are taking atazanavir (an anti-viral medication).
Do not take if the blister foil is damaged.
Do not take for more than 14 days except on medical advice.
If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of finishing the course, consult your doctor.
Prolonged use without medical supervision could be harmful.
If you are pregnant/breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant/start breastfeeding - check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
For use by adults 18 years and over.
Take one tablet daily for at least 7 days, not exceeding 14 days.
Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Not intended for immediate relief, it may take a few days to achieve maximum results.
