Ensure that your dog does not ingest the shampoo. While the ingredients are generally safe when used topically, ingesting the shampoo is not recommended.
Gently massage the shampoo into your dog's wet coat, starting from the neck and working your way down to the tail. Be cautious around sensitive areas like the eyes, ears, and mouth to avoid getting shampoo in these areas. Use your fingers or a washcloth/sponge to work up a lather. Rinse your dog thoroughly with lukewarm water. Make sure to remove all traces of shampoo from the coat. Incomplete rinsing can lead to skin irritation.
