Cyclogyl 1% 15ml

Cyclogyl 1% Eye Drops contain cyclopentolate hydrochloride, an anticholinergic medicine that temporarily dilates the pupil (mydriasis) and relaxes the focusing muscles of the eye (cycloplegia). It is used for diagnostic eye examinations and may also be used before or after certain surgical procedures or to relax the eye in some inflammatory conditions. The effects generally wear off within 24 hours.

Cyclopentolate Hydrochloride 1% w/v (10mg/mL).

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. 

Use only as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is one drop in the affected eye(s), followed by a second drop 5 minutes later. Your healthcare professional may administer the drops for an eye examination or procedure. After administration, gently close the eye and apply pressure to the tear duct for approximately 2 minutes to help minimise systemic absorption.
