Prepare a saline solution (use pre-mixed packets or mix 1 tsp salt + 2 cups warm distilled/boiled water).
Fill the Neti pot with the solution.
Lean over a sink, tilt your head sideways.
Place the spout into the upper nostril.
Gently pour the solution into the nostril, allowing it to flow out the other side.
Repeat for the other nostril.
Rinse the Neti pot thoroughly after each use and allow to air dry.
