Heparin Sodium 5,000 Units/5mL is a parenteral anticoagulant used for the prevention and treatment of venous and arterial thromboembolic conditions and other indications requiring unfractionated heparin therapy. Each 5mL ampoule contains 5,000 units of heparin sodium, equivalent to 1,000 units/mL. The Australian-registered Pfizer presentation is supplied as a sterile single-use 5mL ampoule.

Use only as directed by a doctor or authorised healthcare professional. The dose and method of administration must be individually prescribed and monitored.
