General Information:

Movicol is a laxative which can be used in patients with either chronic or occasional constipation, providing comfortable and effective relief.

Features:

• Works with the body to soften and bulk the stool and encourage natural bowel movement.
• Less likely to dehydrate the body unlike stimulant laxatives.
• Lactose, gluten and sucrose free formulation.
• Lemon-Lime Flavour.

Warnings:

• Not to be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding without consultation with Doctor or Pharmacist first.
• Should not be used in patients with inflammatory bowel disorders or intestinal perforations.
• Not to be used in patients with an allergy to Macrogol.

Active Ingredients:

• Macrogol 3350 12.125g
• Sodium Chloride 350.8mg
• Sodium Bicarbonate 178.6mg
• Potassium Chloride 50.2mg

Directions:

• For constipation: 1 sachet daily, increasing to 2 or 3 daily if required.
• For faecal impaction as diagnosed by doctor: 8 sachets a day.
• Dissolve each sachet in 125mL of water and drink.
• Store below 30'C.
