Naprogesic tablets are formulated with NAPROXEN SODIUM to relieve moderate to severe period pain.

Features:

  • Relieves aches and pains associated with menstruation such as cramping, headache and lower back pain.
  • Reduces the productions of prostaglandins which reduces pain.

Active Ingredients:

  • Naproxen Sodium 275mg
  • This preparation is for the relief of minor and temporary ailments and should be used only as directed.
  • Prolonged use without medical supervision could be harmful.
  • If symptoms persist see your doctor or healthcare professional.
  • Do not take this preparation if you are taking anti-coagulant therapy or are currently taking an anti-inflammatory medication. Asthmatics and people allergic to aspirin should consult their doctor before taking Naprogesic.

ALWAYS READ THE LABEL

  • At the first sign of period pain or menstrual bleeding (whichever occurs first), take 2 tablets with food.
  • Then, if necessary, take 1 tablet every 6-8 hours as required (maximum 5 tablets every 24hrs).

maybe help for migraines

I've used this in the past for migraines which I no longer suffer from. I assume the substance in this formulation may help with inflammation. This formula helped with migraine pain unlike OTC products eg paracetamol, ibuprofen etc. Intending to try this with my son who has recently became an occasional migraine sufferer - he has not used it yet. Will see if it is helpful as it was with me.
