Before using the Omron HEM7156 blood pressure monitor, it is important to carefully read the full Instructions for Use provided with the product. Here are the general steps to follow:

Prepare for Measurement:

Avoid bathing, drinking alcohol/caffeine, smoking, exercising, and eating for 30 minutes before taking a measurement.

Rest for at least 5 minutes before starting the measurement.

Sit upright on a chair with your legs uncrossed and feet flat on the floor. Make sure your back and arm are well-supported.

Prepare Your Arm:

Remove any tight-fitting clothing from your arm.

Do not roll up a tight sleeve or place the arm cuff over thick clothes.

Wrap the arm cuff firmly around your left upper arm. Refer to the instruction manual if using the right arm.

Position the bottom edge of the arm cuff 1 to 2 cm above your elbow.

Ensure the air tube is on the inside of your arm and aligned with your middle finger.

Rest your arm on a table so that the arm cuff is at the same level as your heart.

Connect the Cuff and Main Unit:

Ensure a solid connection of the air plug and cuff to the main unit.

Stay Still and Begin Measurement:

Remain still and do not talk during the measurement.

Press the START/STOP button to initiate the measurement.

The cuff will inflate, and the measurement result will be displayed on the screen (approximately 30-60 seconds).

The reading will be automatically saved in the memory.
