Adult supervision recommended for children under 10. Gums may bleed the first few times you floss. If bleeding persists or gums remain red and swollen, see your dentist.
Break off about 45cm of floss and wind it around your middle fingers on each hand. Hold the floss taut between your thumbs and forefingers. Gently guide the floss between your teeth, using a gentle back-and-forth motion. Curve the floss into a "C" shape around each tooth and slide it up and down against the tooth surface. Repeat this process for each tooth, including the back teeth, and use a clean section of floss for each tooth.
