The 5 tests kit Covid and flu rapid antigen test is extremely easy to administer yourself and by following the next few steps, you will have your results in about 15-20 minutes. Before beginning the process, ensure that you read the instructions that will be provided in the IFU pamphlet. The first step is ensuring that your hands are clean and dry before you begin opening up the package and laying out the different components of the test. The first part of the process is the swab test, where you insert the swab into your nasal cavity and twist it around in each nostril five times. You should be going carefully and slowly until you are about 2 cm into your nose. After this, you are going to place your swab in the extractor buffer tube, be sure to twist the swab against the tube and squeeze about 5 times.
Once you have discarded the swab into the biohazard specimen bag, screw the lid onto the extractor tube and shake the sample vigorously. The test itself should be placed on a hard surface where you will then drop 3 drops of the sample into the sample section of the test (two parts marked S). After waiting around 15 minutes, you should see two lines along the control section and you may also see lines along the indicator strips which determine if you have Influenza strain A, Influenza strain B or Covid-19!
