The Welcare Digital Thermometer Deluxe (WDT505) is designed to provide reliable and accurate body temperature readings. It features a flexible tip for comfortable measurement, a large easy-to-read display, fever alarm, last-reading memory and measurement completion alert. The thermometer is water resistant and displays temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. It can be used for oral, rectal or underarm temperature measurement and provides readings in approximately 10 seconds, depending on the measurement method.
Always read the label and follow the Instructions for Use. Keep the thermometer and LR41 button battery out of reach of children. Do not bite or bend the flexible tip excessively. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or use harsh cleaning chemicals. Do not use if the device is damaged. For rectal measurement, use particular care and stop if pain occurs. Temperature readings should be interpreted together with other symptoms and, where necessary, by a healthcare professional.
Press the ON/OFF button to switch the thermometer on.
Select the appropriate measurement method: oral, rectal or underarm.
Place the flexible thermometric tip correctly against the measurement area.
Keep the thermometer in position and remain still during measurement.
When the measurement is complete, the thermometer will beep and display the temperature.
Remove the thermometer and read the temperature on the display.
Clean and disinfect the thermometer after use and store it in the supplied case.
