The Welcare Digital Thermometer Standard (WDT404) is designed to provide reliable and accurate body temperature measurements for the whole family. It features a large, easy-to-read display, approximately 10-second reading time, fever alarm and last-reading memory. The thermometer can display temperatures in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and includes a measurement completion alert and automatic shut-off for convenient use. It is water resistant and suitable for oral, rectal and underarm temperature measurement.
Always read the label and follow the Instructions for Use. Do not use the thermometer if it is damaged. Use care when taking rectal measurements and stop if pain occurs. Do not immerse the entire thermometer in water or use harsh chemical cleaning agents. Keep the LR41 button battery out of reach of children, as button batteries can cause serious or potentially fatal injuries if swallowed or inserted into the body.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the thermometer on.
The previous temperature reading will briefly appear on the display.
Select the appropriate measurement method: oral, rectal or underarm.
Place the thermometric tip correctly against the measurement area and keep the thermometer still.
Wait for the measurement completion alert. The reading generally takes approximately 10 seconds, depending on the individual and measurement method.
Read the temperature displayed on the screen.
