Always read the Instructions for Use before using the product. Do not use if the thermometer is damaged. Do not bite the thermometer or bend the flexible tip more than 45°. Do not force the thermometer during rectal measurement and stop immediately if pain occurs. Do not use the thermometer while it is wet, as inaccurate readings may result. Do not use it in the ear. Temperature readings should not be used for self-diagnosis; consult a healthcare professional for interpretation. Keep the CR2032 button battery out of reach of children, as swallowed button batteries can cause serious or fatal injury.
Disinfect the thermometric tip before use.
While the thermometer is off, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
Press the ON/OFF button again to start the self-check.
The previous temperature reading will be displayed for approximately 2 seconds.
Select the appropriate measurement mode: oral, rectal or underarm.
Place the thermometer correctly and remain still during measurement.
The temperature will generally be reached in approximately 5 seconds, followed by an alert beep.
Remove the thermometer once the measurement is complete and read the displayed temperature.
The reading is automatically stored in memory.
Turn the thermometer off after use.
