Always read the label and follow the Instructions for Use. Keep out of reach of children. Use a clean probe cover for hygienic measurements. Do not rely on temperature readings alone for self-diagnosis or treatment decisions. A high or prolonged fever, particularly in young children, requires medical attention. Consult a doctor for interpretation of temperature readings and appropriate treatment.
Attach a clean disposable probe cover to the thermometer.
Turn the thermometer on.
For ear temperature, gently insert the probe into the ear canal.
Press the TEST button once to begin the measurement.
A beep will sound and the temperature will appear on the LCD screen after approximately 1 second.
For object temperature, select Object Mode and hold the thermometer approximately 1–2 cm from the centre of the object before pressing the TEST button.
