Hydrocortisone-AFT Powder for Injection contains hydrocortisone sodium succinate, equivalent to 100mg of hydrocortisone per vial. It is a corticosteroid used when oral therapy is not feasible and is indicated for intravenous or intramuscular administration in a range of inflammatory, allergic, endocrine and other conditions. Each vial contains sterile white or almost white powder and is supplied in a pack of 10 vials.

Hydrocortisone sodium succinate 133.7mg, equivalent to hydrocortisone 100mg per vial.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. 

 

Hydrocortisone-AFT is administered by a doctor or nurse by intravenous or intramuscular injection, or by intravenous infusion when appropriate. For injection, the contents of one vial are aseptically reconstituted with not more than 2mL of bacteriostatic water for injections or bacteriostatic sodium chloride injection. Dosage and frequency are determined by the treating healthcare professional according to the patient's condition and response.
